ECS
ECS, member of the GDF Suez Energie Services, is responsible for an independent control all companies carrying out maintenance and decontamination tasks on nuclear sites.
ECS is not only specialized in radiation protection, but have also been active for many years in the training sector.
ECS is acknowledged as training center, in conventional safety e.g. for high risk tasks, and is competent as examination center to take the VCA-certification exam.
ECS employs more than 50 people and achieved a turnover of 5 million Euro in 2008.

European Control Services (ECS) en Vinçotte Academy werden door Electrabel verantwoordelijk gesteld voor het verstrekken van de opleiding "nucleaire veiligheidscultuur” vanaf 1 september 2011, en dit voor alle aannemers van Electrabel die de nucleaire site van Doel moeten betreden.
Door hun expertise te bundelen, kunnen ECS en Vinçotte Academy een kwalitatieve opleiding aanbieden door gekwalificeerde instructeurs met, voornamelijk op de site van Electrabel Doel, een ruime ervaring in de domeinen van veiligheid, stralingsbescherming, gezondheid en milieu.

- 'Work with flanges – Flange fitters'
- ‘Measurement and detection of gasses’
Both trainings are part of the High Risk Task register.
Since March 2009, these are an integral part of ECS’ training possibilities.

E-learning VCA
ECS start a brand new program of E-learning VCA in our acknowledged examination centers.
The Safestart program fulfills perfectly the requirements and aims of the VCA-base. This learning program will allow the examinee to learn, practice and take a trial examination.
During the learning process, the examinee will be followed up by a coach. The final aim is, of course, to pass the examination in an acknowledged examination center.
